Über die verwendete Gitarrenbox

Ab 1965 führte man die Modellbezeichnung „1960“ ein, die sich über die Jahrzehnte als Synonym für Marshallboxen etablierte.

Wurden bis 1965 noch Lautsprecherchassis mit Alnico-Magneten verbaut, finden in diesem Cab bereits die deutlich leistungsstärkeren keramischen Magnete in Form des G12M Chassis mit je 20 Watt Anwendung. Genauer, die heißbegehrten Modelle aus der Pre-Rola-Ära, die im alten Produktionswerk in Thames Ditton hergestellt wurden. Einen wesentlichen Beitrag zum herausragenden Klang bietet der Pulsonic Cone, der nur bis ca. 1975 gefertigt wurde.

Sie eignet sich sehr gut für Classic Rock, Hard Rock und Blues.

The standard and classic Marshall

One thing I've learned while trying a bunch of IRs is that some sound great when playing by yourself, then they stick out like a sore thumb in a mix. There are plenty available that sound similar to this one, but this PIN68 cab sounds "just right" to me in a mix. I can match the sound of a lot of my favorite rock recordings with this. It has become my standard Marshall to judge all others by.

    Vintage Marshal Tone

    Great vintage Marshall tone! I purchased this IR pack and really loved the tone, best I have ever tried. Then I purchased the UK triple collection vol 2 and found many more great IR s and single mic voicing which I can work with to get a great variety of vintage tones.. After speaking with Markus I found out that Cabir will be introducing new cab Ir Libraries using their objective sweet spot method!, Also easier to use Ir files without compromising tone.and quality. And also a quick start folder. Can't wait for the new IR Paks. I tried many IR s and these are really top notch and best I've tried. I highly recommend you give them a shot you wont be disappointed. .

      Classic Tones and More

      I came across these amazing IRs quite by chance whilst searching on the internet for Marshall cabinet IRs and I'm completely blown away!.... I've tried a LOT of Marshall impulse responses and these are by a long way the very best I've ever played. The tones you can get are just stunning! Just buy them!

        Incredible IR pack!

        This is my favorite IR pack that I have purchased. I have tried over 25 IR packs from different companies and this one is the best. I also think the other packs from cabIR.eu are all really well done. I highly recommend them.

          All of the cabIR.eu packs are really well done. But this is my favorite IR pack of all time. I highly recommend this pack. These are much better than any other brands I have tried. Great mixes.
