Quintessential Celestion Greenback Tone!

Finally decided to pull the trigger on the Core 4 Tone Starter Pack and this G12M25 set has been my clear favorite. I have 8 month old twins and practice and record late in the evenings, so I cannot rock out like the cool dad that I am. So I load down my 1972 Marshall Super Lead with an attenuator/load box and then run the signal into my Torpedo CAB, where I store my favorite IRs. And so far, this G12M25 is my current all time favorite IR. It's very clear, focused, with just the right balance of mids, lows, and highs with no excessive fizz. It's the ideal Marshall-Celestion tone I hear in my head, and the best part is I don't have to shake the walls to have fun these days. I also love the G12H30 watt, which is just a close second to this IR set, and also really dig the G12M20 greenbacks too!

Amazing IRs

I want to say thanks for this IRs of Marshall 1960AX. This pack is just amazing. I tried it with Torpedo Reload and Marshall JMP 2203 '79, it sounds fantastic. Especially because nobody else did this IRs of this cabinet. CabIR the only one who did it. Thanks allot. Waiting for some new IRs of the Marshall cabinets from 60's and 70's with G12M and G12H.

Wie Original

Ich war am Anfang recht skeptisch, was die Qualität von IRs allgemein angeht. Habe mehrfach keinen tollen Ergebnisse erhalten. Nun wurde ich aber vollkommen umgestimmt und muss sagen das die Neuauflage von der 1960AX die "ältere" Variante bei weitem Übertrifft. Nicht nur was den Umfang der IRs betrifft, sondern auch deren Qualität. Da ich selbst seit vielen Jahren die AX nutze und es für mich keine bessere Box gibt, ist ja bekanntlich immer Geschmackssache, konnte ich mich vollster Zufriedenheit feststellen. Dem Original zum verwechseln ähnlich. In einigen Punkten sogar besser als die Originale Box.
Für mich als Kemper-Nutzer, welchem keine optimalen Studiobedingungen zur Verfügung stehen, ist dies ein wahrer Segen. Zusätzlich besitze ich leider nicht das technische Know-How um Mikrofone so optimal zu positionieren und hinterher einzustellen, dass der "perfekte" Sound entsteht. Meine Ergebnisse waren alle zu basslastig und muffig.

Dank der großartigen Arbeit von Markus ist das jetzt anders. Das IR geladen, am liebsten die FOCUS_CAB Variante, welche, wie ich finde, einen tollen ausgewogenen Mix darstellt, an die FRFR Box angeschlossen und Feuerwerk.

Bombastisch, Feinheiten lassen sich im Nachgang ja immer noch anpassen und zur Not nimmt man einfach ein anderes Mikro. ;-)

Ob es beim AXE-FX ähnlich ist kann ich leider nicht sagen, aber für mich als reinen Kemper-User die wahre Wonne.

Gerne wieder. Zusätzlich sei hier noch erwähnt, das der Markus einen richtig grandiosen Support spendiert, bei Fragen schnell reagiert und weitere Tipps und Hilfestellungen bietet. Das hat man ja recht selten in diesem Umfang und sollte hier auch nicht zu kurz kommen.

Awesome bunch of IRs!

Great Marshall/Greenback tones. Got this in the CORE-4-TONE pack/bundle. Nice variety of sounds/mic-mixes/etc., and pretty much all of them sound great, which is amazing. Nothing is unusable; just different flavors of awesome.
